Theme: Remembrance

Autumn leaves are thick on the ground and grass,
So the poppies pool round the Cenotaph,
The season of death and remembrance returns.
The life of trees arrives at visible death,
So poppies shed are as dark as blood spilt,
But trees and life unmoved pass through to spring.
