Martyrdom

  They do not wish to live more,
If their motherland seems to die;
On the feet of Goddess nation,
The soldiers' dead bodies lie.

It may be the burning deserts,
Or the glaciers with ice flows;
They tramp on heavily laden,
But their love for nation grows.

Being away from their homes,
Despite missing their families;
They, for the glory of the nation,
Sacrifice their lives with ease.

Thousands of big salutes to you,
For your greatest martyrdom;
Surely it is only because of you,
We are blessed with freedom.
