Cloud and Lightning

Murmuring asked the Cloud of Lightning:
“Why are you so proud?”
The latter sprung a surprise and queried:
“Why are you so dark-colored?”

Both were in the wrong,
Like the teacher who makes a mistake,
Which he asks his pupils to be wary of.

The two communicated in a language
The phonology of which they are imperfect masters.

True masters comprehend
The complementariness of existence:
‘I’ is negation and ‘We’ acceptance.
