Thank you, Bijay babu. The moon is the bride. After discarding the bridal robe, the fullmoon is now a crescent one.

Dubious, dual meaning. Under the burkha, is the face of the mistress crescent? Or, Chandramukhi going with the lulling, resounding anklets under the dark night? is she Suryakant Tripathy Nirala's Rajani?

If the face be as such like the crescent moon then why to talk of wedding gowns?

Chand mera dil, chandni ho tum.
