  It's something
that lies within all of us
Lurking beneath consequences
fostered by daily routines

It can strike
when you wake up
or in the
middle of the night

It can befall
at any time,
at any place
Can be triggered

by unusual happenings
or the curse of loneliness
Can bestow headaches
or bouts of depression

Systematically turned into sacrifices
upon everyday turmoil
with a cloud over your head
while you twist and turn

Struggling to survive.
