Cloudy Skies

Lackluster day
pesters supreme utterances,
beauty's iridescent
surveillance counters dense
material overhead

This is the magnificent earth,
one that provides for
billions of inhabitants.
Why don't we exult
in this miraculous divinity?

Skies dissolve
Sun breaks out
pillaging immaculate disturbances.
Overbearing meetings
divest simplistic exultation

while you ponder impasses
turbulent supremacy
that drive thoughts
questioning daily reluctance
beyond the crescent moon.
