A silent battle of love, fighting in vain!

A deep apprehension that true love may go down the drain!
Constant skepticism ' will I lose or gain?
If I lose, tears, like blood, will rain!
Is love destined to give us pain?
Or, for tougher times, does it train?
Does love relax us, or does it strain?
Does it destroy both the heart and the brain?
Can love be so brutal?
It can give life, but can it also be fatal?
Love seems to be very tough,
