  Forbidden thoughts
Break a wall so thin
All those feelings that
Should've never been...

My heart longs
To see them
To hear them
To hold them
To prise them
Open like clamshells

I'm changing
White wings
I am shedding
Innocence
Shattering
It seems I broke the glass

Dark shapes
In they do leap
Old seeds they
Start to reap
Desire
Wills to seep
And blend with purity

Those thoughts make a landscape
I long for the colour
I long to remember
Become the embracer
Who observes with pleasure
As one would, the shadow
Of a dancing fire.

And yet...

Those forbidden thoughts
They broke a wall so thin
Should I have let them go
Instead of letting them in?
