In the lap of nature
Sleeps and wakes up in peace
My village, in all green glee
The beauty plays around everywhere
Like sportive kids
Happy in their own ground.

Waves of cold and heat
Don't ever deter the determined,
Gloom of poverty paves the way
To the golden dawn of life
The rainbow across the sky clouded
Drops down its colorful hues.

Zephyr zooms in forms
Zeroing on in the well-being of all,
Though the summer heat
Tans the skin of country's peasants
Who never give up,
With all the bravery they toil and till
Until their hearth grows mirth...

Spellbound, I am sitting on the terrace
Or huddled in the balcony,
Or stand at times near the window
Watching the dance
Of nature with its supernal power
In the cosmic existence.
