I Watch Those

Thoughts come in,
Thoughts go out.
Sometimes of belief,
Sometimes of doubt.

Thoughts play around,
Like those little kids.
Thoughts try to grow up,
Like those tiny seeds.

Love or hatred,
Anger or lust,
Jealousy or desire,
Pleasure or disgust.

Those stay and play,
Those enter and leave,
From stories to memories,
Those take and give.

I watch like a gateman,
My waves of thoughts.
Those come in plenty,
Those come in lots.

My natural inclinations,
And my very instinct,
My common thoughts,
And those very distinct.

The one that is healthy,
The one that is sick.
The one that is honest,
The one with a trick.

I watch those all,
From big to small.
Those at times rise,
Those at times fall.

Neither do I agree,
Nor even I disagree.
I let those travel,
Open and very free.

I try to introspect,
My every thought flow.
To see where I am left,
Behind and very slow.
