Dad

Dad, you always lift me up when I am broken,
How easily you can realize my words unspoken,
Dad, when the world leaves me, only you hold on to me,
In you, a clear reflection of God, I can see!

Dad, you protect me like a Banyan tree through thick and thin,
You can make me happy no matter how hard the day has been.
Dad, your loving kind words comfort my wrecked soul,
You help me out to be focused on life's goal!

Dad, you support me and encourage me all the time,
Your heart is made of gold, your love is sublime.
Dad, you are my role model, you are so inspiring,
You give me strength, so my days are never tiring!

Dad, may you be in the pink of health, be happy and take care,
Remember, in struggle and strife, with you I am always there,
Dad, may success kiss your feet, may you have unbound joy, love and peace,
Having you as my Dad is God's best gift, my greatest bliss!
