Two Partners

We don't have profit,

To show or conceal.

We count a zero now,

At the end of the deal.

I will be what I am,

Ever the same.

You too what you are,

No one to blame.

We are what we are,

Knowing this as fact.

Against each other,

Now we seldom react.

Still we are together,

Making the daily deal,

With no heart to hurt,

Neither any to steal.
