Let us slow down dear fellows,
We must stop this rat race,
Before we all fall down, we
Should decrease our fast pace

We are frittering away resources,
Let’s pause for a second and think,
We are driving away our universe
To the brink of destruction in a wink.

Green jungles are now vanishing,
Sweet water-bodies are drying,
With earth going totally barren,
Won’t we humans be dying?

We have angered generous nature,
Should be ready for the consequence
Or take damage-control measures
To counter her grief and grievance.

We have wounded her so badly,
We must now show some empathy,
Otherwise we should not expect
From her any care or sympathy.

It’s high time to look inward, and
Let go of everything we crave,
Respect and appease the earth
Or we’ve already dug our graves
