Old is Gold

by Kulbir Bhalla

You are bold,

Trying things new,

But in my view,

Old is gold -

Old songs playing

And time-tested ways

Make my days

Less dismaying.

True...how about taking the middle path...cherish the old, time proven, familiar, comfortable ways, while venturing out to explore the unknown.

There is a nostalgia about the past; all was not perfect then, and neither is all new imperfect.... Change is inevitable; let's embrace it!
