Conflicts

The levels of setback
caused by the pandemic
are not easy to fathom
and reconcile

As much as the incomes
of individuals are dwindling
so are the revenues
of the governments

Defunct
and on the verge of
becoming bankrupt
economies globally
are trying to work on
deficit financing

Who is borrowing
and who is lending
is anybody's guess!

With all social cautions
and even simple austerities
being tossed out of the window,
societies are heading
towards an environment
of mayhem and lawlessness
