Free Bird

Just that you wished to be bird
And I remained in my cage
Holding you, rooted
Deep inside me
That opened up
Your feathers,
flowers,
flesh,
fragrance
Spreading all over me
My humus
So much so
That I couldn’t see
That even wings have opened
For awaited branches anew
My knitted thoughts lie in empty cage
And a new nest has found a bird in you.
