God's Conservatory

What are we?
Toys
in God’s conservatory…

Like a self-willed child
God too plays with His toys
makes or breaks them
at will
enjoys winding them
more or less, His whims
watching them go topsy-turvy
or smashing into each other…
Makes them dance to His tunes…

Throws into the big bin
disobedient troubleshooters
conveniently moves on to new ones
like the famed Maharajas…

Maybe, like a child
He too gets easily bored
playing with the old, faded ones
wants new articulations
more and more
ever more…

We are nothing but pliable playthings
for God to have His unmitigated fun…
After He had with us had His run
like a child, He indifferently smashes the spectrum...
