On these cold wintry mornings
While cuddled in my comfy recliner
Under the warm and bright sunshine
Beguiled and lost in your pious reverie
Nostalgia of our yesteryears’ memories
So often sweeps over senses and thoughts.

The eyes shut yet mind goes meandering
Your awesome persona with twinkling eyes
Your elegant angelic aura with fairy charm
Our one last rendezvous, short yet affable
Then the echo of your footsteps going afar
Keeps rebounding my ears and still haunts.

The sunshine reminds of your perfection
In the moonshine I see your reflection
Adrift in your reverie I still keep conjuring
You are somewhere around with familiar smile
For nothing is more salubrious and sublime
Than feelings of our togetherness close by.
