Consolation

The red ball camouflaged
in clouds of darkness
caused an emotional disturbance
and moistened eyes

The wandering mystic
offered consolation declaring - 
the sun always sets
with a promise to rise again

Death is merely a gateway
for mortals to pass through
and commence a new journey
like the rising sun
