The Game Someone Plays

People come and go

Some remain with us

For long, and make us 

Happy or sad.

Some come and leave

Fast, make us feel

Either happy or sad.

Do we have options 

In these entries and exits?

Sure, some we intentionally

Throw away, and in some

Cases, it is vice versa.

Those who give us 

Happiness leaving,

Those who give us 

Misery remaining,

Truly not in our hands.

Someone decides

And plays a game of

Including and excluding.

We are just watching as

Pawns in the hands of 

That unknown Player.
