O Krishna!
Every day, challenges gush,
Into the lake of our lives,
From an unseen divine waterfall,
Come streaming in - stones, pebbles,
Sand particles, insects and amphibians -
Debilitating us!
Still, bringing with them,
Life affirming wondrous waters!
O Krishna, is it one of your many tricks?
Do you love to see people suffer?
Or do you make us suffer so that
We know you?
What is Leela to you,
Is for the Jeevatmas,
Playing with their lives!
Be more merciful,
Fill lives with more joy,
And less pain.
You are God,
We are only human.
O Krishna!
