Infancy once again:

Independency disappears,

Dependency reappears.

I once read that if we were to ask a tree:
"How old are you?" The tree would hard time remembering it's age. It's always 'NOW'.
So with us. If we did not allow the calendar or the world beliefs about age to affect us, we would be leading independent lives right into our Golden years!
