From Darkness Into Light

Night
watches
with a thousand eyes. 

Day
makes do
with a single glance. 

But at dusk
when the sun tilts
towards the west
the world
quietly releases
all its light. 

My mind
reads life
through a thousand visions. 

My heart, however,
lives
by one look alone. 

The day that look
turns into love
my whole life
slips
from darkness
into light.
