The Sun sank slowly
Into his western abode,
Seeking his bed to rest,
Evening is still and shining,
Night, Spreading its wide
Dark wings is descending
Over the Earth;
Lo! Behold, a cluster of clouds
At far-end of the western sky,
Glowing with golden tints;
Did the Sun leave all his wealth
Of radiance in these golden clouds
With his parting kiss?
I wonder, savouring
The glowing golden clouds.
