  In Nature, too,
reliability is everything:
it starts from seed,
each life that in developed form,
of bird or beast,
proposes it,
the sworn truth its sounds brief.

And what of trees,
and their great permanence from seed derived,
once grown,
to manifest unending days,
that brick and mortar
sense and coven with,
where humankind finds rest.

Catastrophe cannot upset the trend,
and birth takes up the gauntlet
death throws down,
it stirs the passions,
writes the songs,
the end is that will be,
not end,
but seed that's sown.
