  There got to be something
Indispensable that abides
After everything is taken away from us,
After the body is burnt down to ashes,
For we cannot settle for less.

We roam this world
From sea to mountains
And reflect all the time upon essences,
Looking in sound, image or metaphor,
Of what truly abides.

Can we find it when we relinquish home?
Can we find it in a whispering dome?
Does it reside in the sweet echo of Om?
Does it dwell within? It is hard to say,
Tat Tvam Asi!
