  On a lifeless summer evening
When I sit alone in my balcony
I can see my life
Passing before my eyes, in slow motion...

Many battles fought
Some won, most lost.
I wonder if I could have lived differently.

Hindsight is an exact science
The luxury not available
When the battles are on.

Selective amnesia is a pleasurable tool
Which makes life a sweet memory
It puts a smile on my ageing face
I have no regrets at all.
