Truth Deceives

God is dead, man is alive
Life is dead, death is alive
Love is dead, loaf is alive
Peace is dead, war is alive
System is dead, chaos is alive
Fragrance is vanished, flower is visible
Humanity is dead, religion is alive
Learning is dead, teaching is alive.

Rain refuses to impregnate
The callous clouds.
Life is merely an animal passion
Where virtue and worship
Are idolized
And spoken or sung hoarse,
Otherwise unsung and unheard.

How can the fair be fair
In the mania of chaotic din
Of respect for rights, freedoms and dignities?
