Do you hear the silence
Listen to the whisper of the wind
Water lapping at the shore
Peace comes with meditation
Sloughing away the tension
Why let blight overshadow
beauty in the day or night

Don't let it overtake you
Love the silence of winter
Though cold brings chills
Summer sizzles the landscape
your mind warps in the blight
Peace is found in Namaste
Shanti means you well
So I think of comforting beauty
Thoughts that wish you well.
