In the broad galactic lane
seeing the Moon lost and forlorn,
Sun took pity and said,
'Cheer up, leave all your
pains behind, loan a part
of my light, open a fixed deposit
in the Interstellar Commercial Bank
and lend on the earth
at a nominal interest.'
That is when Full Moon took birth...
Soon Moon was at work,
silver-topped all the bylanes,
the lanes and streets,
and opened a friendly scheme
to advance loan on a phased manner
to men - both rich and poor,
in deep jungles as well
to the lion, tiger and deer.
