A Spark of Life

A spark of life he was to me,
I started in the womb.
A parasite I used to be,
enclosed within that room.

Released from darkness into light,
I saw him gently smile...
He held me warmly in his arms,
I basked in love awhile.

The day turned into night,
when he left without a word.
A spark of life he was to me,
A spark of life unheard.
