Forest in a Glass

Tangy, sour, mint-cut over ice, stirring
Beading, wetting my blouse and lap

A simple straw brushing lips

finding mouth and tongue,
Altering mind to move to hips

And we are at the edge of the rounding
windows looking in, drink deluded of

this forest in a glass
