Death

Death, why don't you come to me
When I want you so very much!
I am fed up of everything,
No more can I bear such suffering.
Past mocks at me, Future frowns,
Present is miserably unpleasant,
Life is so unpredictable,
Death, please have mercy on me!

Day after day, night after night,
Loneliness is killing me from inside.
I am lying numb with all my broken dreams,
Tears overflowing my cheeks ceaselessly,
Only God knows my unbearable story,
Death why don't you make me a history?
As I am a withered leaf in the shadows of time,
Which is of no value to anyone in this world.

Death, why don't you embrace me,
As I have nobody who wishes to do so.
The everyday misery is burning me within,
All my faint hopes are dead by now,
Loneliness is engulfing me,
Insomnia ruining my nights,
Please let me go into an eternal sleep,
Death, please have mercy on me!

Comment No, never, Rupradha... it is not death but life will have mercy on you and love you shall receive as a presnt. Loving arms will spread to embrace you, dreams will rest in your little eyes and cool breath will dry the tears from your cherubic cheeks. wait dear, the spring in on its way...
