Enigmatic Memory

  I tend to forget things
Forget my appointments at times
Forget auspicious dates most times
Forget faces in contemporary life
Forget events of topical importance
Forget money and banking instruments
Worldly things of critical relevance
Narrated only a few for instance.

But all this is not without exception
It has been an era since her departure
Yet her memories haunt me as ever
Her mesmerizing beauty and angelic smile
Sublime songs which she sang in her time
Every rendezvous even short conversations
And classic gesture rolling face over neck
Remember everything with minute precision.

Memory was an enigma all these years
Having resolved it now I wish to share
System Installer did it (brain) in two parts
As one domain carried all data by default
And the other remained exclusive her part
So retrieval from the former is laggard
While the latter remain efficient forever
Till system correction is made by Deleter.

(Installer refers to Creator God 'Brahma' and Deleter to Death God 'Yama'.)
