Adaptation

Confucius stated it once
As the water shapes
Itself to the vessel
That contains it,
So a wise man adapts
Himself to the circumstances.

Blaming circumstances
Or people in the surroundings
For our misfortune or miseries
Seldom yields any tangible results,
Instead a positive mindset
Faith, hope and courage
With the willingness to adapt
Leads to often miraculous outcomes
Even in most adverse circumstances.
