Divine Nature

Banyan Tree.jpg

Whenever I am lonely in my solitude
Someone quietly sneaks in thoughts
And reminds me of our shared past,
The love, longing, absence and loss.

Finding nature as the only true recourse
Often I sit for long hours on the moors
Or even go far a walk in the deep woods
For the much needed medicine or solace.

Lying under the shade of the banyan tree
During opalescent dawn or saffron sunset
Or even in the star-studded moonlit night,
I thank the nature - magnificent and divine...

For its so beautiful plants and trees
For the chirpy birds and butterflies
For the vagabond clouds and blue sky
For the free-flowing rivers and lakes
For the vast oceans and mighty mountains
And for the celestial sun, moon and stars.

In the sole wilderness of the divine nature
Realization comes what is reality or mirage
The healing touch is so soothing to senses
It takes away all anxiety and sense of loss.
