Autumn Song

  Welcome home, Autumn!
Your arrival is
A prelude and assurance
For spring is sure on cards..

Like a soul changes
An old and decaying body
To assume a new life form,
Aged and tired trees
Are turning to
Beautiful colours
Of changing autumn leaves
Only to wither and fall
To pave way for
Tiny and tender buds
To grow and bloom full green
Bringing life back with
New hopes, colours and forms.
