Sometimes they gush
Sometimes they rush
Sometimes they hush
Sometimes they’re lush

Sometimes they spurt
Sometimes they hurt
Sometimes they’re pert
Sometimes they’re curt

Sometimes they flirt
Sometimes they blurt
Sometimes they skirt
Sometimes they’re dirt

Sometimes they care
Sometimes they dare
Sometimes they tear
Sometimes they’re fair

Sometimes they balm
Sometimes they calm
Sometimes they harm
Sometimes they’re warm

Sometimes they tell
Sometimes they sell
Sometimes they jell
Sometimes they’re hell

Sometimes they lie
Sometimes they sigh
Sometimes they cry
Sometimes they’re high

Sometimes they splash
Sometimes they clash
Sometimes they lash
Sometimes they’re rash

Sometimes they delight
Sometimes they highlight
Sometimes they slight
Sometimes they blight

Words...

Make...
Break...

Oh my words!
Fly like birds...

Do spurt
Don’t hurt...
Do balm
Don’t harm...

My words get wings
And fly like kites,
And like eternal springs,
They flow into my writes.
