  Mamoni,
I called up,
I was longing
To hear your
Voice,
His soulful
Voice
Said to me

Coming back
Home
From the busy
Humdrum of
Life,
What a warm
Welcome
Greeted me..!

Exchanging
With him
The what...s
How...s
And why...s
Of everyday life
Energised the
Weary soul in me

(Wrote this after a conversation with my father-in-law this Friday, we talk once every week, he lovingly calls me Mamoni)
