Peerless Love

Peerless moments of your
Ethereal and sublime love
Are worth hundred years of living
A life without any regret or tears.

Destiny might not bless us with
Another chance of friendship
But you shall remain as ever
My icon of adoration and worship.

Prospect of another rendezvous
Remains an enigma and question
Yet nothing can outshine memories
Of our immortal care and affection.

It remained my impression
All along during lifetime
One can’t live and love twice
It’s nothing but a compromise.

That, your loss in early life
Left a resolve and conviction
A man lives in moments
And I have lived mine.
