Gratitude

by Dr. Jaipal Singh

So much gratitude
I owe you forever in life

Your poignant memories
Created a compulsive workaholic
Your evocative thoughts
Inspired me through this long journey
Your enormous loss
Taught me endurance and tolerance
Your endearing friendship
Blessed me with goodwill and compassion
And your ethereal and sublime love
Made me affectionate and affable in life.
