Bureaucracy

Long years in bureaucracy...
Now I often keep wondering
Why do organizations engage
Professional singers and artists
To entertain captive audiences
On many auspicious occasions
Such as commemorative days
And a National or Raising day..?

When the senior bureaucrats
Thanks to inflated ego and arrogance
With all time-brewing tensions
Are capable of providing free
And a far better entertainment
With a high comical content
Through their antics, angularities
And strange idiosyncrasies.
