  Sometimes the bra hanging
On the line makes me ponder
Who invented this constricting
Garment

When I was young
I used to wear plain white thick
Cotton bras to hide
My growing breasts

No man should see that
I have become a woman
Was my mother's motto
So bras stifled my breasts and emotions

Now that I am old and grey
I have bras of all hues and colors
But they still cannot hide
The saggy breasts and saggier emotions
