Did she come or didn’t she come
I couldn’t understand
Is she a dream, a mirage or an illusion?
Can she be bound in a solid form
Or in a melodious tune?
She is never near but always far
An object of eternal desire
Her flute plays a sweet tune
It is both of union and separation
You are happy or in pain
You do or do not get her is immaterial
She is a wild wind
In the wilderness of your heart
She is only an object of eternal longing and love.

Transcreation of the song – O ki elo, o ki elona, bojha gelo na – by Rabindranath Tagore.
