Gumption

He often mesmerizes me
With gumption to the core
He is an incredibly astute thinker
With a calm and cheerful demeanor

Whether in a happy mood
Or sunk in a gloomy mess
He is well known to maintain
His magnanimity, wit and gesture...

Free from ego, greed and anger
He may never seek a favour
Yet always ready to help others
So I wish him to live long and prosper.
