Picture Perfect

The palette was perfect!

The right amount of orange

and a dab of pink

sprinkled against the giant blue

The water became

the perfect mirror

embellishing the colors

to complete the picture

My eyes widened

and the jaw dropped

in awe of the magnificence

created by the artist

I feasted on the spectacle

and took it all in

enriching my soul

until the sunset

Now I wait zealously

with bated breath

for the next tour de force

from the maestro above
