Educated at the Edinburgh University in the U.K. and at the University of Hawaii in the USA, from where he earned his Ph.D. in Linguistics, Prof Gupta has fifty-six years' experience of teaching English Literature, Language, and Communication at various colleges and universities in India and abroad. He has four volumes of poetry and a number of poems published in national and international journals to his credit.
