The Wheel of Time

Workshop # 2

As I spin the wheel of time,
Backwards,
Through the many folds of life,
I find myself
Holding my childhood
The weight of her
Gently in my arms
She sits there,
Patiently…
Yearning to be rediscovered.

I hold her close to me,
Yet the gap between us
is…
‘Immeasurable’,
‘unabridged’.

I ‘ve walked too far…

Today, no matter
how distant she may be
My childhood, my ‘child’,
Is an integral part of me !
