The wheels of Time, as they roll,
people grow from young to old.
A younger one the older holds
as nature slowly takes its toll.
All that's born must come of age,
be it human, tree or bird in cage.
The elder with experience,
holds the child to shelter,
the younger aloof from this world,
sleeps in the arms of the elder.
The elder is learned,
to existence he is wise,
the younger yet to explore,
the mysteries of life.
Until the day the baby grows,
the elder will be his guide.
A day will come when this child,
will walk by the old man's side.
A few years down the road,
when time in years will pass,
the old man will need someone,
to give him water in a glass.
And that's when this young one,
will help this elder divine,
as each one takes a changing role,
with the moving 'Wheels of Time'
