Called Up To Say

I just called up to say I care
That wherever you are
whatever you do
I'll always be there

Moments of glory and
Moments of pains will
Soon pass in the strength
Of our shared togetherness

I tread upon this path of love
Knowing it will bring me pain
I know that love is a path of thorns
But I step upon it willingly
Aware that where are thorns
Roses are far away

I know that if I can feel
the chilling bite of the winter
Summer can be faraway

I know that where there is night
Sunrise can' be far away

I know that near every valley
Rests a hillock
That even the vastest desert
There is an oasis

I tread upon the path of love
Knowing that even the fiercest
Of the waves
Rest at the shore.
